Our Client has a generous plot on with sandy soil and wanted to create a welcoming garden where she could enjoy the sun, entertain family, and be surrounded by beautiful planting. Completed in Autumn 2025
New beginnings!
Winding paths lead the visitor to several seating spots, from which to enjoy full borders in high summer, and evergreen woodland planting in winter
Sunny afternoons
The new design includes a west facing summerhouse with wrap around deck, just perfect for two sun loungers. A low privacy wall gives a feeling of enclosure and screening from neighbours
Entertaining space
The existing patio was replaced with an oval limestone patio, with softening planting and ability to overspill onto level aggregate paths for larger events
Generous planting
The border beds are shady, and we added height through new statement Himalayan birch and hollies. Drought tolerant underplanting is low maintenance and textural.
